EA Technology (EATL) will apply a health index analysis on all of CEs overhead lines and distribution substation sites (including associated building and civil assets).

This project will provide a quantifiable and risk-based approach to CAPEX investment through current and projected condition and risk, based upon current and historical condition and an assessment of the consequences of failure associated with particular overhead-line and distribution-substation assets.

The output of this work is aimed at improving our understanding of assets reaching end of life and to improve internal processes relating to the effective targeting of expenditure.

EATL will apply a health index analysis on all of CEs overhead lines and distribution substations, which includes both electrical and associated civil assets. Specifically, Condition Based Risk Management (CBRM) techniques will be applied to YEDL and NEDL assets within these categories.
